The ProxEncoder® Non-contact Rotary Position Sensor is the extremely compact and original Joral non-contact sensor. Its smart design allows it to perform better than hall sensors and other traditional magnetic encoders. The PE18 ProxEncoder’s patented true non-contact sensing architecture can achieve a .5” gap between the sensor and target, with 0.10 (12mm) center alignment and up to a 30-degree planar tip.
Choose from Quadrature, Analog, J1939 Analog Single-Turn, and Voltage outputs. It offers a convenient variety of connectors, including M8, Flying Lead Cable, and shielded flying lead. To provide you with even more mounting options, the PE18 is available in the cylinder prox-style (PE) and a box-style (PEBX) form factor.
And the Non-contact Rotary Position Sensor is built to survive in nasty environments, even submerged in water or oil! The IP69K rated constructions and minimal design size means the PE18 can thrive where standard magnetic sensors fail.
